If you knew George R. Hull (The Hawk), then you knew his heart belonged to the people—especially the youth. George had a remarkable gift for seeing potential in others and doing everything in his power to support their growth. He was relentless in his mission to find resources, guidance, and opportunities that could help individuals succeed—whether it was through education, personal development, or just being there with encouragement.

While he was deeply committed to helping young people achieve their educational goals, he also mentored adults, offering wisdom, direction, and support to those seeking purpose or a second chance. George believed that growth doesn’t stop at any age—and he gave his time generously to help others move forward in life.

Though his efforts often went unrecognized during his lifetime, his impact is undeniable. His legacy lives in every life he touched, every goal he nurtured, and every dream he helped bring to life.

The George R. Hull Legacy Golf Invitational is not just a tournament—it’s a tribute. It’s our way of honoring a man who gave so much without asking for credit, and it’s our promise to carry his vision forward.

A special event dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of George R. Hull. This tournament will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Green River Golf Course, with a 7:00 AM sharp tee time and check-in beginning at 6:00 AM. This year’s event will follow a Shotgun Doubles Best Ball format. We encourage you to register early, as the registration deadline is September 28, 2025.

This invitational is more than just a day on the green—it is a continuation of George’s heartfelt commitment to supporting young adults in their pursuit of higher education. By participating, you are contributing to a cause that helps shape the future.
